Ramadan Mubarak to the DU community! Insha’Allah, Ramadan will begin on Tuesday (April 13th). Please continue to follow Islamic Center of Peoria website for the official announcement. During the blessed month of Ramadan, our school schedule will remain the same for both in-person learning and e-learning. As we enter this holy month, please remember the words of our beloved Prophet (Allah’s Praise and Mercy be upon him): ‏

Abu Hurairah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month, which Allah, the Mighty and Sublime, has enjoined you to fast. In it the gates of heavens are opened, and the gates of Hell are closed, and every devil is chained up. In it Allah has a night which is better than a thousand months; whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived."'
